Welcome Back, Cactus
Stop by Cactus Music tomorrow night (Friday, February 22) between 7 and 10pm for the Opening Reception for the “Texas Troubadours” art exhibit (and our “official” Grand Opening of the store!) Stop by before or after dinner – or come the whole time. You will be glad you stopped by. Here is a little note from the Chronicle blog about the Friday night reception, and the in-stores on Saturday: http://blogs.chron.com/handstamp/archives/2008/02/cactus_musics_g_1.html
Steve Harris’ “Texas Troubadours” photography exhibition opens Friday night in the Cactus “Record Ranch Gallery” – the photographs are already up and they are awesome. We will have copies of Steve’s book with the photographs.
It Ain’t Easy Being Green
Just a heads up:
Bun B will be throwing a bash for Green Label Art’s contest winner Dez @ Diverse Works Wednesday, 2/20 @ 8pm, with DJ Cyph on deck. Dez’s art gets the mass exposure it deserves on the RAD Mountain Dew aluminum bottles — alongside renowned street-artists such as Haze, Peat Wollaeger, Troy Denning, Chuck Anderson, and Scott Lenhardt.
