Theatre organist Ken Double brings Trinity’s historic organ to life to accompany one of the silver screen’s famed silent movies, “The Mark of Zorro” starring Douglas Fairbanks.

First Thursday Starts Out With A Bang
Start the New Year out with a Bang by watching the short film thrillers of Bootstrap Productions. Former Houstonian Reko Moreno has teamed up with writer/director Jesse Grce to form Bootstrap Productions which has produced some very impressive first short films. Come watch their short films before they make their debut feature in 2008. Join us Thursday, January 3rd at 9:00PM at Dean’s. This FREE evening is not to be missed because you won’t get to see these film anywhere else! Please arrive early, screening begins promptly at 9:00PMish.
Every first Thursday of the month we will have a FREE screening of award-winning Texas-made short film entries from the Houston Film Commissions Texas Filmmakers Showcase or from other film festivals. The one hour-ish screenings will begin at 9PM at Dean’s Credit Clothing, 316 Main Street (between Preston & Congress). Come see some great films that you may never get to see again or to just talk film in the comfort of the hippest venue downtown. If you can’t make it, do the right thing and tell a filmmaking friend.
