Don’t Be a Boobka
Go to Babka!

Suchu Dance returns this fall with their latest, Babka.
Guaranteed to transport you into an other-worldly, intimate, jewel box setting of indelible, sculptural images dispelled by interceding forces of every imaginable origin, magnitude, and direction. There is an intensity and energy to this new production that is certain to pull you in, satisfy you without over-satiating, and linger vividly in your mind’s emotional and visual recall, bringing you quiet but perceptible, internal enjoyment for many days and weeks to come.
Tomorrow, Thursday, November 8, for only $29.99 you can join Suchu for a scrumptious Asian-inspired, pre-show dinner at 7 pm featuring sushi, skewered chicken yakitori, stir-fry vegetables, edamame, fried rice, and beverages, followed by a special preview performance of Babka at 8 pm. Then, after the show, rejoin the performers and artistic director and fellow audience members for a dessert of chocolate, fresh pineapple, and pumpkin pie.
Other performances of Babka run:
Friday, November 9, 8 pm
Saturday, November 10, 8 pm
Friday, November 16, 8 pm
Saturday, November 17, 8 pm
Sunday, November 18, 7 pm
and ticket prices for those evenings range from $10 to $20 (save money by attending a show that is earlier in the performance run). As always, you will save $4 per ticket by purchasing 24 hours in advance either online (www.suchudance.org ) or by phone (713.529.1819), rather than at the door.
